Daily Encouragement

A selection of quotes from Daisaku Ikeda’s published works on inspiration for daily living.
December 9
We should regard minor mishaps as forewarnings of potential major accidents. If we view them as reminders to be vigilant and recommit ourselves to safety, rechecking everything and considering all possibilities, we can prevent serious accidents and failures from occurring. Minor mishaps can become a positive catalyst if we take them seriously, using them as opportunities to renew our determination.
