Ikeda Forum for Intercultural Dialogue

On December 11, the Ikeda Center for Peace, Learning, and Dialogue, an affiliate of the Soka Gakkai, held the 2021 Ikeda Forum for Intercultural Dialogue. The online event was themed “Becoming Wide Awake to Our Wisdom, Courage, and Compassion: Global Citizenship as Action and Identity” and was attended by nearly 250 participants in 27 countries. Dr. Jason Goulah of DePaul University and Dr. Awad Ibrahim of the University of Ottawa discussed the significance of wisdom, courage and compassion in relation the concept of global citizenship. The forum included a panel discussion among graduate students and breakout dialogue sessions.
