Soka Gakkai in Japan Makes Donations in Support of Ukrainians Forced to Flee

On March 24, the Soka Gakkai in Japan made a donation of five million yen (US$40,987) to the World Food Programme (WFP), and on March 28, the organization donated five million yen (US$40,987) and two million yen (US$16,395) respectively to the Japan Committee for UNICEF and the NGO Japan Platform. On March 30, it donated one million yen (US$8,197) to the NGO Association for Aid and Relief, Japan. These organizations were chosen as they are directly engaged in providing assistance on the ground.
