SGI-Panama Cohosts Seminar on Earth Charter

On June 29, SGI-Panama cohosted an online seminar to commemorate the 21st anniversary of the launch of the Earth Charter. Titled, “The Earth Charter in Action with Non-violence and Peace,” the event was cohosted with the Earth Charter Young Leaders group and several organizations in Panama and Colombia promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and care for the environment. As a panelist, Astrid De La Lastra of SGI-Panama introduced the principles of Soka education and emphasized the fourth pillar of the Earth Charter, “Democracy, Nonviolence, and Peace.”
