Full Text of SGI President’s 2021 Peace Proposal Available in English

The full text of SGI President Daisaku Ikeda’s 2021 peace proposal, titled “Value Creation in a Time of Crisis,” is now available in English on the Daisaku Ikeda Website. In the proposal, released on January 26, he explores ideas for addressing the key issues of our time: the COVID-19 pandemic, the climate crisis and the need to rid the world of nuclear weapons. Recognizing that these issues are not constrained by national borders, he calls for a human security approach, in which countries look beyond their immediate interests to work together to reduce and eliminate the threats facing all people. The full texts of the Chinese and Spanish proposal will also be made available on the Daisaku Ikeda Website.
