Full Text of SGI President’s 2022 Peace Proposal Available in English

The full text of SGI President Daisaku Ikeda’s 2022 peace proposal, titled “Transforming Human History: The Light of Peace and Dignity,” is now available in English on the Daisaku Ikeda Website. The proposal, released on January 26, offers concrete ideas for tackling the climate crisis and achieving inclusive education and nuclear disarmament. Concerning humanity’s response to the pandemic, President Ikeda calls for solidarity built on awareness of our interconnectedness and emphasizes the need to address the inequalities the pandemic has exposed. He cites gender equality and women’s empowerment as key to overcoming the crisis and building a global society that sustains human dignity.
