Online Launch of “Seeds of Hope & Action” Exhibition
On February 25 and 26, the “Seeds of Hope & Action: Making the SDGs a Reality” exhibition, cocreated by the Earth Charter International and the SGI (Soka Gakkai International), was launched through three online events; two in English and one in Spanish. The exhibition, the successor to the “Seeds of Hope” exhibition, promotes sustainability and aims to inspire people to act as agents of social change. During the two English events, Sajid Iqbal, founder of the NGO “Change,” shared his initiatives to use rooflights and renewable energy sources to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. At the Spanish launch event, Mateo A. Castillo Ceja, the main champion of the Earth Charter in Mexico, spoke about his efforts to promote the Charter there.
