SGI Representative Attends Global Faith Leaders Summit

From November 6 to 7, the Global Faith Leaders Summit was held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), in advance of the UN Climate Change Conference (COP28) that will take place in Dubai from November 30 to December 12. Hiro Sakurai, director of the SGI Office for UN Affairs, participated in the two-day event. Two hundred participants, including the SGI (Soka Gakkai International), endorsed an interfaith statement that was presented to COP28 President-Designate H.E. Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber.
