SGI Signs Joint Statements on Key Global Issues

On October 11, four joint statements endorsed by the SGI (Soka Gakkai International) and other civil society organizations were among those submitted at the 78th session of the UN General Assembly First Committee on Disarmament and International Security that is taking place at UN Headquarters in New York City until November 3. The four statements respectively addressed: the protection of the environment in armed conflict; youth and disarmament education; gender, intersectionality and disarmament; and humanitarian disarmament.
