From November 29 to December 2, some 200 youth from India, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand participated in the South Asia Youth Training Course in Japan. The course featured exchange meetings with Japanese youth in Kansai and a study session.

On November 30, course participants attended a Kansai General Meeting at the Kansai Ikeda Memorial Hall in Osaka, connecting online 172 venues across the region. At the meeting, representatives from Japan, Malaysia and Thailand shared their faith experiences. On the same day, the South Asia and Kansai Youth Executive Conference was held. Soka Gakkai President Minoru Harada attended the meeting and announced plans for future online and in-person events to foster friendship between the youth of Kansai and South Asia.
