Spain and Portugal Hold Online Youth Festival

On November 29, the youth of the Soka Gakkai organizations in Spain and Portugal held a joint online festival that was recognized by the Spanish government as part of the commemoration of the fifth centenary of the Magellan-Elcano expedition, the first circumnavigation of the globe. Enrique Caputo, vice chair of SGI-Europe and general director of the Soka Gakkai of Spain, introduced congratulatory messages from First Vice President of the Spanish Government Carmen Calvo, the Directorate General for Religious Affairs of the Government of Catalonia, and President of the European Buddhist Union Ron Eichhorn.
