SGI Supports UN High-level Forum on Culture of Peace

On September 7, the SGI Office for UN Affairs helped organize the UN High-level Forum on the Culture of Peace held at UN Headquarters, as a founding member of the Global Movement for the Culture of Peace. Former UN Under-Secretary-General and High Representative Ambassador Anwarul K. Chowdhury served as chair and moderator of the afternoon session. At this meeting, Executive Director of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) Beatrice Fihn gave the keynote message.
