Youth Member Joins Video Campaign for COP26

On September 13, the British and Italian Embassies in Tokyo released a video introducing the voices of young people calling for climate action in which Soka Gakkai youth member Hayato Yamashita spoke on behalf of the Youth4Climate delegation from Japan. The video was produced to promote the Youth4Climate: Driving Ambition event held in Milan from September 28 to 30 that aimed to build momentum toward the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow in November. The event provided young participants the opportunity to put forward ideas and proposals on the climate agenda, empowering them with the possibility of contributing to climate policy.
