Soka University of America Hosts World Summit of Educators

On June 13, Soka University of America (SUA) hosted the 2nd World Summit of Educators online, joined by speakers and participants from 21 countries to discuss global citizenship and how education can build a stronger world community. Wanjira Mathai, vice president and regional director for Africa at the World Resources Institute and chair of the Wangari Maathai Foundation, gave the keynote address on “Education for Global Citizenship: Building a Sustainable World.”
