Youth Peace Assembly on Creating Hope-Filled Future Held

On September 25, Soka Gakkai Malaysia (SGM) youth held the National Youth Peace Assembly (NYPA) 2022. The online event was attended by more than 1,000 people. Under the theme “Be the Change: Creating a Hope-filled Future for All,” the NYPA featured presentations on the topics of climate crisis, nuclear disarmament, education and economy, drawn from President Daisaku Ikeda’s 2022 peace proposal. Founder and Chairperson of the Penang Gandhi Peace Centre Dato’ Seri Dr Anwar Fazal delivered the keynote address.
