Participation in Club of Rome Annual Conference

On October 27, Vice Chair of SGI Europe Robert Harrap participated in the Annual Conference of the Club of Rome on behalf of President Daisaku Ikeda who is an honorary member. The conference was held online on the theme “Global Equity for a Healthy Planet: A New Narrative Beyond the Limits to Growth.” The book Before It Is Too Late, a collection of dialogues between Club of Rome Cofounder Aurelio Peccei and President Ikeda, was introduced in the information sent to participants in advance of the conference. The information highlighted the two’s conclusion that a human revolution is necessary if we are to live in harmony with the natural environment.
