Headquarters Leaders Meeting Held in Japan

On January 7, the first Soka Gakkai Headquarters Leaders Meeting of the seven-year period leading up to Soka Gakkai’s centennial in 2030 was held in Tokyo. Participants included 86 leaders from Soka Gakkai constituent organizations from 11 countries and territories who were visiting Japan. At the meeting, Soka Gakkai President Minoru Harada expressed his condolences to those affected by the January 1 Noto Peninsula Earthquake. He also encouraged participants to be open to learning new perspectives of the current times from the younger generation.
