Youth Volunteers Clear Disaster Waste Following Noto Earthquake

On February 14, the Soka Gakkai’s Seikyo Shimbun newspaper reported on the ongoing volunteer activities of young men’s division members in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, following the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake that occurred on January 1. On February 10 and 12, volunteers visited the homes of those affected in the city of Nanao to clear and dispose of damaged furniture and household goods. On February 11, another group supported recovery efforts in Shika town, located on the southwestern coast of Noto Peninsula.
