SGI Representative Joins UN Environmental Assembly in Nairobi

Between February 26 and March 1, Alexandra Masako Goossens-Ishii of the SGI Office for UN Affairs participated in the sixth session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-6) held at the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya. On February 29, she spoke at an online side event titled “The Right to A Healthy Environment: Interfaith & Ethical Perspectives” hosted by the Parliament of the World’s Religions and the SGI (Soka Gakkai International) among other organizations.
