SGI South Asia Youth Training Course and General Meeting Held in Malaysia

From February 22 to 24, youth leaders from India, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, together with SGI Youth Leader Mitsuo Nishikata, participated in the SGI South Asia Youth Division Training Course in Malaysia. The event featured activity reports from each country and a lecture by Dr. Sethu Kumanan, chairman of Soka Ikeda College of Arts and Science for Women located in Chennai, India. On February 24, the SGI South Asia Youth General Meeting was held at the Soka Gakkai Malaysia Culture Centre in Kuala Lumpur. The meeting was attended by a delegation from Japan led by Soka Gakkai President Minoru Harada, the South Asian youth representatives and some 1,000 youth members from across Malaysia.
